Fort Widley

Join us as we explore the tunnels and parade ground of the infamous Fort Widley. Take part in group experiments including EVP, dowsing rods or maybe even try your hand at a lone vigil. The evening will start around 8.30pm with a briefing of how the experiments will be conducted and some information about the location and previous encounters. Led by the BPS team you will then be separated into smaller groups and taken to different areas (we will rotate, so we all get the full experience), you will have the opportunity to try up to 3 different guided experiments as well as some independent investigating time should you wish. We will have refreshment breaks where hot and cold drinks and snacks are provided. At the end of the evening we will congregate one last time for a debriefing and a chance to share our experiences. Will you encounter the whistling sergeant-major or maybe the seven foot tall spirit swinging his lantern from side to side? A reminder that alcohol is not permitted at the premises. Please bring a small torch, wear comfortable footwear and a jacket as it can get quite chilly.

There are a lot of stairs to the accommodation block and tunnels. Bare this is mind before you book.

For those who are staying the night, please bring sleeping bags, camp beds and a pillow. We have access to a base room where we can leave these during the initial hunt.

We have experienced some genuinely spooky things at Widley previously including a member of the team being physically pushed, equipment tempering, whistle backs and cat balls being thrown.
